About Me

Hi. My name is Nate, and I have amnesia. Not the type where I instantly forget what’s happening, but the type that was caused by complex childhood PTSD. (That’s just a fancy way of saying I don’t remember my childhood because people treated me like shit during said childhood.) I am fragmented and dissociated in a way that occasionally will allow me to remember chunks of my life. I’ve decided to chronicle those chunks that I remember, in case someday I totally forget.

I suppose the only people who are likely to read this are my friends and family. If so, hey there! You already know who I am. You may or may not have asked me to write a book about my life before. This is my very scattered, lazy attempt to do so. I don’t know if I will ever have the energy or time to write an actual cohesive narrative. Whoever reads this will just have to try to piece together the puzzle themselves and use this blog as an overarching way to unlock my memories right along with me.
